Waste Reduction Grant

Each fall, SWANCC provides up to $200 in grant funds to K-12 qualifying schools to purchase materials or educational resources that promote waste reduction – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Items can include, but are not limited to, purchasing recycling bins; can crushers; reusable food containers, lunch bags, trays, coffee mugs, water bottles, cloth napkins; dry-erase boards; composting equipment; and related resource materials, such as books and DVDs.

Funds are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be submitted by individual schools, or by an administrator of a school district.
