Invite SWANCC staff to give a presentation about solid waste technologies, waste reduction tips and what individuals are doing to be more “green” to groups of 25 or more.  Information will be adjusted for age-appropriateness. 

Additionally, SWANCC’s Recycling and Education Director, Mary Allen , is available to conduct “in-services” for faculty. SWANCC is an Approved Provider for the Illinois State Board of Education .

Educator Leslie Handler is available to present a twenty-minute interactive presentation called “Taking Care of Our Earth” to pre-school and kindergarten children. Click here for more information.

Each fall, SWANCC hosts a workshop for environmental representatives and student-based club sponsors, as well as hands-on workshops for teachers throughout the year.
